World of Warcraft Cooking Guide by Seth Symonds
Cooking is great way to earn cash in WoW it also one of the more enjoyable professions in my opinion. In this guide I am going to give you a few pointers to improve your cooking skills in more importantly make a nice amount of gold.
Initially in World of Warcraft you start out in a beginner's area. In this area you wont be able to start the cooking profession you can start it when you hit level 5. Until then just knuckle down try to save some coin to use when you start your cooking trade.
Once you are all ready to leave the beginners area go speak with a guard find out where the cooking trainer is located. Go find the trainer. your initial recipe is spice bread so head to a cooking supply shop buy the needed ingredients. Cook the bread until it becomes green.
If you decide to go quest you may be able to find some of the items you need for cooking. If you come across any meat eggs or other cooking ingredients hang onto them you'll save yourself money.
One of the achievements in WoW is the number of recipes you know how to cook. to make this easier always make sure you check when talking to NPC's to see if they have any cooking recipes for sale. If they do try to buy them if you can.
If you start accumulating too many ingredients sell them in the Auction House make a little coin avoid throwing them away.
The most lucrative foods to cook are those that give boosts to your stats. Not all sell well but some do. Stick at cooking you'll eventually be able to make some decent gold with it.
The combination of professions that you have is important. I have found fishing to be a great combination with cooking as the work very well hand in hand. You'll find that you need fish to make many of the most lucrative recipes.
In order to dominate the Cooking profession you should choose fishing as another profession to go with it as these work well together. Remember to eat foods to boost your stats before questing then again to regenerate hit points when resting. to make extra gold sell four high end foods in the Auction House.
